TITLE: Python Developer
LOCATION: Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion frameworks and ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and AWS services.
- Build and optimize data pipelines leveraging AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, EMR Serverless, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Develop and maintain robust data models, ensuring efficient data warehousing, transformation, and integration across multiple platforms.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance for relational databases like Postgres, Redshift, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, utilizing JIRA to track development progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices to automate data pipeline deployments and improve overall system reliability.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable ingestion framework
- 3 – 4 years hands on experience on the AWS platform using, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, EMR serverless, Lambdas, Step Functions, etc.
- Proficiency in ETL development and design using Python, PySpark, Big Data (Hadoop/SPARK)
- Strong SQL knowledge, RDBMS experience on any recognized database (Postgres, Redshift, MySQL, etc)
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience in working with Agile Methodology and scrum processes.
- Use of JIRA in Agile development
- Knowledgeable about DevOps and CI/CD best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
