TITLE: EndPoint Engineer
LOCATION: Remote + up to 25% travel

OVERVIEW 
The EndPoint Engineer is responsible for the development, deployment and support of all desktop operating systems, applications and images using Intune. In addition to these responsibilities and deliverables the primary goal is to be a leader in customer service and service management processes, as well as provide the necessary best practices in order to provide world class support and quality service.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 

  • Maintain and follow our application lifecycle to ensure all computers and applications are patched in a timely and consistent manner
  • Creating deployment packages in an enterprise environment
  • Deploy and maintain applications in our virtual desktop environment
  • Package applications, operating systems and software updates utilizing tools such as Intune, SCCM and MDT
  • Implement configuration and security policies via Intune
  • Develop and follow procedures for testing applications prior to deployment
  • Document the customizations and changes made during the packaging process
  • Provide and review monthly reports for associates and senior staff with excellent documentation skills
  • Excel at providing world class customer service and support
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide support and training to end-users as required
  • Provide quick, yet efficient project and Desktop support
  • Participate in Go Live support of major IT initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvements of IT Customer Service functions
  • Provide back-up support for the ITSD Analysts and IT Service Desk Manager as required
  • May be assigned team leadership responsibilities and may be asked to assist the IT Operations Team with strategic initiatives and tasks
  • Provide IT Customer Service ‘off hours’ –independently executing standard procedures for escalation of customer issues and change control
  • Incorporate guiding principles of Operational Excellence and Absolute Customer Commitment into all interactions; whether troubleshooting incidents, assisting with requests or routing to another group. Respond with a sense of urgency; own the issue; exceed customer expectations; drive resolution; and follow-up
  • Initiate, create and maintain process and technology standards; define, monitor and measure; maintain clear accountability; drive continuous improvement and cost reduction
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent experience
  • (MCP) Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years’ experience with Help Desk support, troubleshooting and application support
  • History with creating security roles including role-based access control
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Manage effective relationships and works in partnership with leadership, team members, vendors, and contractors to deliver robust technical solutions ensuring that service level commitments and project time lines are maintained
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks at the same time
  • Contributes valuable input and works well in a team-oriented environment
  • Be willing to take on a new position or accept additional responsibilities when asked
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 
  • One to two years’ experience with MS Intune
  • Application virtualization
  • Deep knowledge of operating system versions and configurations
  • One to two years of experience with Office 365
  • Knowledge of performing Quality Check/Analysis on Application Packages
  • Knowledge of Batch Scripts and PowerShell scripts
  • Knowledge of WSUS, SCCM, AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM
