TITLE: DevOps Automation Engineer
LOCATION: Remote

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts to manipulate and optimize GitLab pipelines for seamless AWS infrastructure and application deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of GitOps workflows with AWS architecture, networking, security, and monitoring best practices.
- Migrate and support enterprise SaaS products transitioning to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient use of AWS resources like EKS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Implement and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure scalable, secure, and consistent infrastructure delivery across environments.
- Modify existing frameworks to customize for specific use cases.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years programming experience with Python with a specialization in automation of DevOps applications.
- Some domain experience with Kubernetes, RDS, Cloud access management, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is desired.
- Hands-on experience automating GitOps workflows using Python and GitLab for large-scale AWS deployments, including EKS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Argo.
- Demonstrated ability to architect, implement, and manage GitOps pipelines in a cloud environment, ensuring the integration of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies and practices, particularly related to moving workloads to AWS, with experience troubleshooting and optimizing cloud environments.
- Must possess the ability to work collaboratively in teams, while communicating thoughts, concerns, and ideas professionally.
- Willingness to work with stakeholders to help clarify requirements and to positively influence technical direction through technical designs
- Ability to be flexible to changing priorities
