TITLE: C++/Python Software Engineer
LOCATION: Remote

OVERVIEW
The C++/Python Software Engineer will work on modifying software to meet new protocol standards, leveraging expertise in both C++ and Python. The role involves working with networking technologies, containerization, and cloud services.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Modify and enhance software to meet new protocols.
- Develop and maintain code using C++ and Python, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and manage applications.
- Collaborate on cloud-based solutions using AWS for data storage, processing, and networking.
- Integrate and optimize Boost libraries into the codebase.
- Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Git.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in C++ with strengths in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with communications/network programming in C++, socket programming or TCP/IP.
- Python development with expertise in Boost libraries (async I/O, unit testing).
- Familiarity with containerization & container orchestration tools (Docker, K8s).
- Experience with AWS services (S3, ECR, EC2).
- Proficient in version control (Git) and CI/CD processes (GitLab).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with Java for command-side software support.
- Experience with TCL or ICL.
- Experience with web development technologies like WebSockets, REST, FastAPI, and Unicorn.
