If you love building the architecture that makes information technology possible, then we have news for you: we’re seeking a Service Desk Specialist who is ready to pick up a (figurative) hammer for one of our clients in Denver, CO (DTC).

Here’s the thing – if a company’s technology stack were a person, then the network of vital organs and veins would be its system positions. Without experts designing, implementing, analyzing, and maintaining important systems, a company simply can’t function. If that sounds exciting, you just might be the lifeblood our client needs.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You’ll provide excellent customer service and first level technology support and problem resolution to internal and external customers of a top BVI client located in DTC.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS JOB

  • Diagnose and resolve more basic or common problems through discussions with end users.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and/or email.  Defers more complex end user issues to more senior staff or related departments.
  • Respond to internal and external customer issues received via email and related Service Desk ticket tracking software.
  • Prioritize tickets while providing basic guidance, assistance and follow-up to ensure effective problem resolution while maintaining department standards for customer service and satisfaction.
  • Assign 2nd level technology support tickets to appropriate internal departments.  Provides follow-up on existing issues to ensure the timely and accurate resolution to escalated issues.
  • May be assigned to projects within the department.  Completes basic project tasks within defined milestones.
  • Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

 

PREFERRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Entry level position.  Relevant systems experience strongly desired.
