Seeking Desktop Support Specialist in South Denver, CO (DTC).  
 
BridgeView IT is seeking long term Desktop Support Specialists for our valued client in DTC, Denver, Colorado.  Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for administering the daily desktop support function (hardware, software, network support) for home office and field employees including workstations and peripheral equipment. 

Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures, maintains and upgrades all PC hardware, software and peripheral equipment. 
  • Performs/supports complex installations and maintenance for end-users, deferring more complex tasks to senior level staff.
  • Provides 2nd level PC support to home office and field end-users.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problems via in person, telephone and/or email in a timely and accurate manner. Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves end user LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity issues according to company policy.
  • Maintains user account information including security and network access according to systems standards and company policy.
  • Develops, maintains and/or delivers related workstation training (in-person, standard resource, etc) to end-users.
  • May be assigned to projects within the department. Completes moderately complex project tasks within defined milestones. May lead or direct projects of varying scope.
  • Works under minimal supervision. Trains and mentors less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • General Dell PC & Laptop and Chromebook configuration and troubleshooting experience required; Virtual Desktop experience would be nice to have.
  • Working knowledge of PC Refresh, Windows Upgrades, Image Management and Preparation
  • Minimum 4 years previous relevant desktop support or system administration experience in IT, preferably within financial industry
  • A+ Certification, related Microsoft certifications strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of imaging tools such as Altiris 
  • Remedy ticketing tool experience
  • Exposure to AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure is nice to have.
