If you love building the architecture that makes information technology possible, then we have news for you: we’re seeking a Configuration Analyst - NICE Actimize specific - who is ready to pick up a (figurative) hammer for one of our clients in Denver, CO (DTC).

As an Application Configuration Specialist, you will act as a service domain expert. You will provide expertise and leadership of multiple NICE Actimize Fraud Prevention products for our client. As an expert, you’ll understand the behaviors and functions of all applications and DB services used in the application stack and provide direction and configuration aligned to client’s targeted financial crime mitigation strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understands design of software feature(s) according to agreed architecture and requirements
  • Configures and Implements software features according to design and best practices
  • Support customer by solving product issues
  • Interface with various R&D groups and with support tiers
  • Ensure Operational Supportability standards of Actimize Fraud Prevention software are being adhered to during development process; works with dev teams to fulfill those requirements. 
  • Perform detailed analysis of issues within the production and pre-production environments, provides recommendations and works with development teams on how to best deliver services for optimized operational support.
  • Collaborate with various IT groups in troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting operational issues
  • Creates bug reports and application optimization recommendations for the Engineering teams.
  • Ensure proper monitoring, alerting, capacity planning and reporting in the production environment. 
  • Works closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Network Operations teams. 
  • Experience Automating the manual processes and optimizes the service delivery of products is highly desired.

 

Skills required:

  • 2-4 years of experience working in software Industry as a software engineer (developer)
  • 2+ years of functional and technical knowledge and experience with NICE Actimize configurations, modules and core connectors
  • Development experience in Java/.Net/C#/SCALA is essential
  • Experience working in OS: both Windows / Linux environments
  • Developing with complex Database environments (Oracle / MSSQL)
  • A comprehensive familiarity and proven experience in OOD/OOP
  • An ideal candidate will have a combined skill set of technical aptitude, superior troubleshooting, and excellent communication/collaboration skills
  • Experience in financial crime services,  with risk and compliance solutions for regional and global financial institutions, as well as government regulators is highly desired
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze data from multiple sources (logs, system, application)
  • Great at writing scripts for automation
  • Strong experience working in public cloud environments (AWS) and working knowledge of troubleshooting issues with AWS services
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of networking concepts (subnets, IP routing, ACLs) Capable of writing SQL queries and performing data analysis against various data sources (SQL, DynamoDB)
  • Experience using application monitoring systems (BMC, CloudWatch)
