BridgeView’s Senior Principal Consultant and Cyber Security Expert conducted a complete SDLC analysis on this client. This effort included reviewing the client’s JIRA platform with the goal of first identifying pain points with third-party vendors and then implementing a plan for addressing key areas indicated. Our recommendations included:

• Aligning Business Analysts: Assigning business analysts to specific application development domains to foster specialized skill sets.

• Internalizing Product & Project Management: Create greater visibility, control and transparency within the product and project management functions by transitioning key responsibilities from vendors to internal teams.

• Initiating More Proactive Involvement: Involving technology teams early in requirement definitions, shifting the team from reactive to proactive activities.

• Develop & Train on New Processes: Create new SDLC process and documentation requirements and implement team training to improve the quality of product delivery, enhance accountability and augment prioritization capabilities.
